Omid Sayareh was born on April 7th, 1971, into a family deeply rooted in the arts. His musical journey began in 1988 when he started learning the Santour, an Iranian instrument, under the guidance of S. Naimi Manesh, and later continued his studies with Parviz Meshkatian. In 1991, he pursued formal education in music at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University, graduating in 1995.
At just 21 years old, he completed his debut album, "Dagh-e-Tanhaei," with A. Mokhtabad as the vocalist. Soroush Corporation released the album in January 1996, marking the beginning of Omid's illustrious career in music composition and arrangement.
In addition to his albums, Omid has made significant contributions to the film and television industry by composing score music for over 14 movies, short films, and TV series. His talent and dedication have earned him recognition on the international stage. In 2014, Omid was nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards festival in two categories: Contemporary Orchestral and World. His compositions, "The Gallery" and "A Dream in Autumn," were celebrated as some of the best works in the festival. Continuing his success, Omid was nominated for the third time in 2016 for the Best Music Composer in the World category for his composition, "Stay in My Heart," further solidifying his reputation as a prominent figure in the music industry.
